The Smith Street is back with another full length. It officially drops tomorrow, but I couldn't help but taking a listen 1 day before. Their last LP "Throw Me In The River" is one of my favorite albums ever made (Which is quite a feat considering how many albums I listen too). So did they top their previous classic, plateau, or drop the ball? Well, I haven't had enough listens to give a real review, but I will say this is a great album. If it is as good as "Throw Me In The River" or surpasses it will be unveiled with time. Pick this shit up. They're still a relatively underground band, so they need all the support they can get. Thank you Smith Street Band for all the wonderful releases you have given us all.
I just randomly stumbled across this band when I was searching for
clothes online. I'm pretty sure they have no fame whatsoever, but I was
really digging some of the tracks. Old skool punk with a little bit of
uniqueness. I guess all they have done is released a song here and
there, so there isn't really an album or ep just individual tracks.
This is the order I put them in on my computer so check them out and
enjoy. I would love to hear more from these guys.
I had never heard of this band and just randomly found it. It's sounds pretty damn good. Give em' a shot for ya boy. The HTML isn't working from bandcamp for some reason so check out the full album HERE
Ladies and gentlemen, Italian grindcore band Buffalo Grillz has returned with their third full length. This band would probably be considered a supergroup with all of it's members being involved with relatively known extreme metal band previously or currently. The guitarist is also a current member of Hour Of Penance, who have become quite popular over the years. This new album is just in your face relentless brutality obviously not meant to be take too seriously. It's a fun listen that does not let up from start to finish. Help these guys out, and pick it up.
I've been a Grog fan for a while now. They've been a band since 1991, and while they aren't extremely well known, they do have a sort of cult following. I had no idea they were releasing this or let alone still a band, but I stumbled upon this new full length. I'm about halfway through, and it's pretty solid. Nothing groundbreaking, but just some good old brutal ass shit to help you get you through your day. I posted their first ever release years ago on youtube with the bands approval, so check it out here and see how they have evolved.
I had heard this band's name and I have seen them release quite a few albums, but I never got around to checking them out. There are so many bands I try and keep up with sometimes I end up overlooking some really good stuff. This album is brutal as fuck and good as fuck. Check it out, I'm about to backtrack to all their old albums because I think I have been overlooking some really good stuff.
