Artist: Church Of Misery
Country: Tokyo, Japan
Album: And Then There Were None...
Genre: Stoner Metal/Doom Metal
I've been a big fan of this band for a while now. Everything I've heard by them is excellent. Before listening to this album was the first time I was skeptical of how the quality would be. The entire band pretty much disbanded leaving the bassist as the only remaining member. I don't know all of the details, but apparently the bassist put together an entire new band and they wasted no time writing a new full length. The only name I knew was the new lead singer, Scott Carlson, who is also the lead singer of grindcore legends "Repulsion". Anyways, I was not disappointed, this is the same old church of misery. I wouldn't have even know the lineup changed had I not seen the news. Pick it up and enjoy the groovy ass serial killer doom.

Artist: Amon Amarth
Country: Tumba, Sweden
Genre: Melodic Death Metal
Amon Amarth has been around for quite a while and has gained huge notoriety in the death metal genre. Known for their viking theme, they have a massive following. I've never consistently kept up with them, but I check out an album of theirs from time to time. Jomsviking is some of the best material that I've heard from these guys. Although it's really heavy it seems like they've toned down slightly from previous releases. However, this doesn't take away from their sound, sounding just as melodic and groovy as ever. Give Jomsviking a try, you won't be disappointed.

Artist: Smoke DZA
Country: Harlem, New York
Album: He Has Risen
The Kushed God's latest release, which I believe is an LP, just came out. Didn't really hear anything about this one, I just stumbled across it. I've always enjoyed this guys shit, and this is sounding pretty damn good. There's 9 tracks with no features except for Snoop Dogg on one song. It's pretty short, but at least there's no filler here. Same old DZA, different tape.

Country: Kansas City, Missouri
Album: Anthropological Curiosities And Unearthed Archaeological Relics
Genre: Death Metal
Here it is guys, the latest from big foot death metal pioneers Troglodyte. I've been with these guys since their first album, which was pretty bad ass. Now they've made it to their third full length still going just as hard as ever. This is another fun ass album with tons of death metal breakdowns. I honestly would have thought they would have gained more fame by now, but that is a difficult and circumstantial thing to do. Help them out, pick it up, show them some support.

Country: Los Angeles, California
Genre: Heavy Metal/Thrash/Speed Metal
Megadeth's back, yea yea yea, blah blah blah. Who the fuck cares, it's a pretty good release though. I was just listening to it while I was waiting for something else to finish downloading, but I was surprised and I'm jammin the whole thing now. Check it out if you still give a fuck about what this band released haha.

Year: 2014 [Remastered 2015]
Genre: Sludge Metal/Hardcore/Thrash
I'm just now listening to this and I literally can't decide if this is pretty good or really really shitty. It's gonna take me a couple of listens to put my finger on how I feel about this one. Anyway, give it a try and let me know your thoughts.
