Artist: Violent Breakfast
Album: Nient'Altro Che Tempo
Ok, I haven't posted much screamo stuff before, but I do listen to some from time to time. I've been listening to a lot of In/Humanity recently and I was looking for some similar, lesser-known bands. While I was searching I stumbled upon Violent Breakfast from Italy. This is raw, broken, shrill music; great for a rainy boring day. The full-album is streaming down below. They are no longer active, but at least they put out some great material during their time. Give it a try, and stay away from all those newer metalcore/post-hardcore bands that everyone mislabels as screamo.

Country: Fort Worth, Texas
Album: High Testament
Genre: Psychedelic Metal/Fuzz Rock/Proto-Metal
Sounding straight from the 70's, Fogg emerges with this masterpiece. Finally, a nice break from all the extreme metal I've been posting. Nothing more to say, it's great, and it releases tomorrow (June 23rd).

Artist: Dire Necro Cerberus
Album: Dire Necro Cerberus I
Genre: Technical Brutal Death Metal
This is a pretty enjoyable listen. The album is wayyyy too long in my opinion, but the track by track quality is good. I've been listening to old school brutal death metal and grind all day, so some new polished shit sounds great to me right now haha. They're in the same boat as bands like Decrepit Birth, not really breaking any new ground at all. Like I said though, it's enjoyable.
Oh yea, i forgot, they don't have a drummer; it's a drum machine. That would normally turn me off, but its not bad. I'm so tired, sorry, this probably makes no sense because i'm not reading back over it.

Album: Iron Chest
Genre: Sludge Metal/Stoner Metal
I've had this album since it first came out, but it got lost in my large collection never to be heard until i found it this weekend. And man, I sure am happy I found this and decided to give it a try. This is some of the grooviest, heaviest, stoner metal I've heard in a while. They have three albums in total, and I'm gonna be picking up the other two very very soon. Maybe I'm late to the party and everyone already knows this band rules, but if not, check them out ASAP!!
Buy This Shit Right Now!!!

Artist: Altars Of Grief
Album: This Shameful Burden
Genre: Blackened Death Metal/Doom Metal
If you want to add a little gloom to your Memorial Day weekend, check out Altars Of Grief. This record was released last year, but I didn't catch wind of it until now. It's heavy, drawn out, and dark. I love when metal is blackened just on top and doesn't completely drench it, allowing the other influences to show. It's not ground breaking, but it is a good listen for a rainy day.

Country: Czech Republic
Album: Devoured Beyond Recognition
Genre: Death Metal
It's been a long time since I've posted on here, but I'm not dead. Anyways this is the new Fleshless record that just came out a few days ago. I enjoyed their last record, "Slaves Of The God Machine" and was happy to see this pop up on my new album feed. I'm about half-way through it, and it's pretty sick so far. Pick it up, check it out, and enjoy!
