Dropkick Murphys formed in 1996 as a 5 piece group consisting of Mike McColgan (Lead Vocals), Rick Barton (Guitar), Ken Casey (Bass/Vocals), Jeff Erna (Drums), and Joe Delaney (Bagpipes). They are a punk band from Quincy, Massachusetts with Celtic and Oi! elements. They have undergone numerous lineup changes over the years but still remain active, releasing "Signed And Sealed In Blood" on January 8, 2013. They have consistently released 8 solid full length albums, although the first album seems yet too be topped. "Do or Die" is a must listen for any punk fan, but the entire discography is definitely worth checking out.
