Sean Pompey (aka Smoke DZA) is a rapper from Harlem, New York. He dropped out of high school to pursue a music career in the late 90's or early 00's. He was in a rap group, Smoke & Numbers, until 2008 when he went solo. Since then he has released quite a few mixtapes, with marijuana being a major subject and factor in all his releases. A lot of the current "weed rap" is talentless garbage, however, Smoke DZA is an exception and one of the best in the game. Especially as of late, the last couple releases have been excellent. I'm sure this guy has a lot more in store for us in the future and look forward to any future releases.
